Hangnaameedhoo Island
Hangnaameedhoo Island is a truly charming, small island (approx. 900x220m) located on the Ari Atoll, about 70 kilometers southwest of Male (about an hour and a half by motorboat).
This is a perfect island if you are looking for a local atmosphere, peace and a beautiful beach.
Do you know that…. you can find here a large Banyan tree (Bengal fig tree) that is several hundred years old?
Bikini Beach
The bikini beach is only 10 minutes walk from our property. There you will find comfortable chairs, deckchairs and hammocks that will ensure a relaxing stay. It is an ideal place for swimming, sunbathing or diving.
There is also a long reef where you can snorkel on both the east and west sides. You can find a rich variety of corals, fish, sharks and rays there.
Transfers
Speedboat transfers operate according to the following schedule:
Saturday - Thursday at 4:00 p.m. from Male
Saturday - Thursday at 07:15 from Hangnaameedhoo
No boats available for Friday at this time
When planning flights, please take the above boat schedule into account. It may happen that you will have to spend one night in Male if your arrival is on Friday, or after 2 p.m., the same applies to the return to Male - the boat only runs in the morning, not on Friday).
It is possible to purchase a private transfer at any time, but the cost is very high (approx. $650 one way) because it concerns the purchase of the entire boat (28 people). However, this option works well when large groups arrive.

Guesthouse - By The Shade
On the island of Hanghnaameedhoo, we recommend staying at By The Shade - Guesthouse, completed in 2019, offers 7 spacious and bright rooms on two floors.
All rooms have a large bathroom and air conditioning. The lower rooms overlook the garden, the upper ones are connected by a terrace that runs along the entire floor.
The building is surrounded by a garden with a restaurant for guests. All rooms are kept in the DELUXE standard.
The hotel restaurant serves meals according to guests' wishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner), usually in the form of a buffet.
